Integrated ACO

Accountable Care Organization

Physicians in various regions of Texas formed an organization called Integrated ACO with the goals of improving the individual experience of care, improving population health, and reducing growth in the cost of health care for populations.

Physician and provider participation in the Integrated ACO is entirely voluntary. ACO provides opportunities to Medicare Fee-for-Service beneficiaries to receive high quality care without waste of resources. Beneficiaries who receive care from the ACO physicians retain all rights of traditional fee-for-service Medicare.

We have now partnered with three other successful ACOs and with Evolent Health, a publicly traded company with significant capital reserves and ACO management expertise.
